How we keep your Credit Card information secure |

When you place an order with us by Credit Card, you are required to enter your Credit Card number and expiry date. It is essential that this information is kept secure to prevent your information falling into the wrong hands.
We maintain this security in the following ways:
Order pages are 128-bit encrypted
When you place your order, the information sent from your computer to ours is encrypted with high-grade 128-bit encryption. This makes it very difficult for unauthorised internet users to access your information as it passes across the internet.
You can confirm the level of encryption by adding an item to your shopping basket and going to the checkout page. A padlock will appear on your browser indicated it is secured.
Credit Card details are encrypted on our servers
When you send us your Credit Card details, we encrypt the credit card information in our database. This ensures that if any unauthorised person attained access to the database, they are not able to easily use the information stored on it.
Credit Card details are never re-published on your computer
We give you access to view previous orders you have placed with us. If an internet user gained access to your username and password, they could log on as you and access your orders. However, they would not be able to access your credit card information, because we never re-display this information for previous orders.
Note: An internet user is very unlikely to gain access to your username and password because the login page is also encrypted with 128-bit encryption technology. There are certain steps you should take to further secure this information though. We recommend you view the Preventing someone from using your account help page for more details.
Credit Card details are required each time you place an order
If someone managed to access your account username and password, they would not be able to place an order with Credit Card information you used on a previous order. This is because we request your Credit Card information with each order - there is no opportunity to use the credit card information used for a order made previously.
Credit Card details are never re-distributed
We will never give your credit card details to any other party under any circumstances other than directly to our bank for financial processing.
