Managing delivery addresses

We appreciate that you may not necessarily wish to have your order delivered to your own address. For this reason, we give you the option to store alternative delivery addresses within your account. You can store as many delivery addresses as you like.

The value of storing your delivery addresses in your account is that next time you place an order you simply select the address you have already pre-configured instead of having to re-enter all the address details over and over again. The delivery address you select will appear on the packing slip for use by our couriers.

We currently only deliver to New Zealand addresses so each delivery address you create must be located in New Zealand. If you reside overseas, you will need to have at least one New Zealand-based delivery address.

The location of each delivery address directly impacts the amount charged for freight.

To manage your delivery addresses, log in to your account, click the My Account link on the blue bar at the top of the page and then click the My Delivery Addresses link. You will be presented with a page similar to the picture below.

  

You will notice in our example we already have two delivery addresses. The Default Address is actually your account address. If you reside in New Zealand the default address will always be available as a delivery address too. If you do not reside in New Zealand, the default address will not be displayed as a delivery address at all.

The other address is named 'Uncle Frank'. This is the Address Label for the delivery address that we have already created previously. The first time you navigate to the My Delivery Addresses page you will either only have the Default Address or not have any pre-configured addresses at all (if you reside outside New Zealand).

There are three key operations you can perform on the My Delivery Addresses page:

   Add a delivery address
   Edit an existing delivery address
   Delete an existing delivery address

We will now take you through each of these operations.

Add a delivery address
To add a new delivery address, click the Add Address button on the My Delivery Addresses page. You will then be presented with a page similar to the following picture.

  
All address details entered on this form that are associated with your account with remain completely confidential to Pristine. This information is secured with 128-bit encryption and can only be accessed over the internet with your username and password.

In accordance with the Privacy Act, we will not divulge any information that we retain about you to any other person or parties. Please read our terms and conditions for further information.

To add a delivery address, fill in all the fields on the address form and click the submit button. Fields marked with an asterix are mandatory.
Address Label
The address label is simply a name that you can use to refer to this particular address (e.g. Mum or Joe's home). The address label you use must be unique for each address you have defined. You cannot use the same address label more than once.
Company Name
Company Name is used if you delivering to a company. If a Company Name is entered, all deliveries sent to this address will be addressed to the company and attentioned to the value entered in the Name field.
Postage Name
This is the name that the delivery will be addressed to and will be printed on the packing slip.
Address
This is the address where we will send the order. It is very important that the address is clear and accurate. Entering incorrect or unclear addresses will likely result in your gift not being delivered or worse, lost!
Rural Delivery Code
If the delivery is destined for a rural area, you need to specify the rural delivery code. The amount charged for delivery is affected by whether you have specified a rural delivery code or not.
Town/City
This is the town or city where we will send the order.
Postal Code
This is the postal code as used by the New Zealand Post Office where we will send orders. If you are unsure what the correct Postal Code is for this delivery address, contact the New Zealand Post Office. Do not enter incorrect postal codes as they may cause orders to be seriously delayed, or worse, delivered to the incorrect address or lost!
Freight Zone
The Freight Zone you select is used to calculate the delivery charges when your order is processed. You should select a Freight Zone appropriate for the delivery address. If you live outside New Zealand and need assistance in determining the Freight Zone, please contact us.
Country
This is the country where we will send orders. Currently we only support deliveries to New Zealand addresses so this field cannot be changed from its default value of New Zealand.
Phone Number
This is the primary phone number that we can use to contact the recipient of the order. If there are problems with the delivery we will always contact you in the first instance. However, if the courier cannot locate the delivery address we may contact the recipient on this number for the sole purpose of ensuring timely delivery. We will not contact the recipient with intentions of Direct Marketing under any circumstances.

Note: Please make sure you include the area code. (e.g. 09 425 3452)
Edit an existing delivery address
To edit an existing delivery address, on the My Delivery Addresses page either click the Address Label or the Edit button adjacent to the delivery address you wish to edit. You will then be presented with a page similar to the following picture.

  

To edit the delivery address, fill in all the fields on the Edit a delivery address page and click the submit button. Fields marked with an asterix are mandatory. The fields on the Edit a Delivery Address page are exactly the same as the Add a delivery address page. Please refer to the previous Add a delivery address section for definitions of each field.
Delete an existing delivery address
To delete an existing delivery address, on the My Delivery Addresses page click the Delete button adjacent to the delivery address you wish to delete. A delete confirmation box will appear as follows:

  

Click the OK button to continue with the deletion and delete the address.

Click Cancel to cancel the deletion and return to the My Delivery Addresses page.

Note: You cannot delete the Default Address because this address is your account address. For this reason, the Delete button never appears next to the Default Address.
