The Site Walkthrough series of help pages is a set of tutorials targeted at new users that take you step-by-step through the key features of our site. This Site Walkthrough will familiarise you with all the details of the checkout process. |

Checking out defines the process for completing an order after you have either added one or more pre-made baskets to your Shopping Cart or created your own custom basket.

As part of the checkout process you will be asked to confirm billing, delivery and payment details.
To start Checking out click the Checkout button on your Shopping Cart.

In order to checkout you need be logged in to your account. If you are not logged in to your account when you checkout, the login page will be displayed.
To log in you must already have an account. If you do not have an account you will need to register first. The registration link is available on the log in page.

Once you have successfully set up your account and logged in you will be presented with the Checkout page.
For ease of use, the Checkout page is broken into three parts:
1. Confirm your billing details
2. Select your delivery address
3. Enter your payment details
1. Confirm your billing details
When you create your account as part of the registration process you are asked to enter your address, your phone number and your fax number.

These details are displayed in this section of the Checkout page and you are asked to confirm if the details are correct. This information is used by us to send you your order confirmation and receipts. We will also use these details to contact you if there are any issues with your delivery.
2. Select your delivery address
As part of your account, you can add one or more delivery addresses. These delivery addresses are displayed in this section of the Checkout page.

You are asked to select one of the addresses as the address you wish your order to be delivered to.
Simply select the option button next to the address you wish to use, or click the Add Address button if you want to add an address that isn't currently part of your profile.
If the address you want to use is listed, but the address is incorrect, click the Update Address link next to the address you wish to change.
If you live in New Zealand, you will have the additional option to deliver to your Billing Address.
Note 1: We deliver to any New Zealand address. We do not deliver outside New Zealand.
Note 2: We do not have the facility to deliver a single order to multiple addresses. We recommend that you place separate orders for each delivery address you wish to send orders to.
After you have selected the delivery address, you have the option to enter delivery instructions and type a special note for the receiver.
Typically delivery instructions are used to let the courier know of any issues with delivering your order such as difficult to find places. However, you can also let us know any special requirements. For example, the colour of the ribbon or card you would prefer etc.
3. Enter your payment details
The last section of the Checkout page is to capture your payment information.

The available payment methods are:
Visa
Mastercard
American Express
Cash
Cheque
If you select Visa, Mastercard or American Express, you will also need to record the name on your Credit Card, the Credit Card number and the Expiry date.
We understand of all your information, your Credit Card information has the greatest potential to be mis-used. We understand this and have put in special measures to handle Credit Card information. For more details on these measures refer to the How we keep your Credit Card information secure help page.
If you select Cheque, the name on the Credit Card, the Credit Card number and the Expiry date are not required. For Cheque orders send us your cheque by mail and we will place your order on hold until we receive your cheque.
After you have filled in the three sections click the Proceed button at the bottom of the page.

You will then be taken to the Finalise Order page.

The Finalise Order page simply provides final confirmation of your order contents and freight charges along with re-confirmation of the billing, shipping and payment details entered on the previous Checkout page.
Thoroughly check through the details on this page and if any information is not correct, click the Checkout page link to step back to the previous Checkout page.
If you are happy with all the details, click the Finish button to complete your order and complete the Checkout process.
After you click the Finish button the Thankyou page will be displayed.

The Thankyou page provides a link to a copy of the Purchase Order. In addition to this confirmation, an email is sent to you so you have a record of the details of your order.
